Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a teacher of English, I am a stickler for correct grammar and spelling. Also, I believe believable characters are essential for a good story. Thus, I will not only correct the writing as such but also make suggestions concerning character and plot development.

I believe I am rather thorough and also know how to use a dictionary when in doubt.

I may tend to be a bit intolerant of slang or colloquial style and prefer British spelling/grammar.

Pretty much anything as long as it has an interesting plot line and good characters. I also like unconventional/non-canon pairings, as long as you can believe them.
