I had to write a new chapter for the book as an assignment for English class. This chapter tells the story of Tariq and his experiences after he left Kabul and Laila thinks that he is dead. It is set from summer 1999 up to summer 2001, when Laila and Tariq meet again. The story is actually readable in chapter 2, I fixed the formatting error.
