Based around the 1982 anime version of The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy meets the Scarecrow and explains things about her being human to him. I don't like the Scarecrow or his relationship with Dorothy but I just had to get this out of my system.

In this modern adaptation of L. Frank Baum's classic novel, seventeen-year-old Dorothy Gale attempts suicide by staying in the house waiting for a tornado to whisk her away and reunite with her late parents. Her plan fails when she finds herself, not in Heaven but a mysterious world called Oz. There she will learn appreciating, strength and courage form grief that controls her.

This story loosely based on "Wizard of Oz", and written by me last year. I wanted to post it here. There are 10 chapters. It's about a girl named Dorothy who is sent to a strange world by a tornado, but she isn't the same Dorothy as the original, and none of the characters are the same.

One day, three handsome men appeared at the front of your door. They were actually your friends, who went on the journey together: Scarecrow,Tin Woodsman, Lion! "Come on! Let's go to Oz to celebrate your birthday!"

Dorothy Gale returns to Oz and meets Tippetarius, a boy on the run from Mombi. What happens when she falls for him? One-shot, Tip/Ozma/Dorothy. AU.

Everything is not what it seems- Oz is no exception. Power in Oz has been corrupted by an unlikely adversary in Dorothy's absence. TinMan's coldhearted and is frozen by fear. The Lion is nothing but a prideful lazy pompous, quick to obey this corruption for his safety. Glinda is nowhere to be found. Ozma is dead. Can Dorothy really slay this new found evil?

Dotty was living in Los Angeles when she caught her boyfriend cheating on her. Now all she wants to do is get back to her farm in Kansas. In a stolen (borrowed!) yellow Cadillac convertible, Dotty hits the road with her beloved dog Ozzy. Along the way she meets a young stoner kid named Scott Crow, a sexy but heartless mechanic, Tim Mann, and a sweet but painfully shy transvestite.

With the inverted genders of this classic tale, Oz is like you have never seen it before. Donny, his dog Terry, and his comrades Scarlet Crow, Nicki Chopper, and the 'Cowardly' Lioness all follow a road paved with yellow bricks.

She had failed to understand their message, and they continued to suffer. Based on the theory that Oz was a populist allegory. The title is drawn from William Jennings Bryan's most popular speech. (I swear that this is better than it sounds.) Rated T. Please R&R.
