When Kim's life takes a dangerous turn, she doesn't know how to handle all the sudden changes. When CIA agents show up and her parents seem to know something she doesn't, Kim realizes if it had to be so strange, if it had to be so scary, if it had to be so crazy, then at least she has Jack. Rewrite of an old story "What Is Going On?" New title, reused plot but better writing.

Jack was jealous enough at the Save a Date Auction to bid on Kim himself.

Kim leaves California to spend the holidays with her aunt and uncle in the mountains of West Virginia and meets a cute boy on her first morning with the snow. They become quick friends and soon spend every day together. Will their friendship bloom into something more or will Kim have to say goodbye after the holidays? This is based on a Hallmark movie's vibes-AU in WV mountains.
